OK, I still have more to say on this topic, obviously. Please indulge me.
I just remembered my mother telling me something years ago, before she was sick, long before I met Brian. I was in my late twenties and sure I’d missed my chance to meet the right person. I said to Mom, “Maybe I’ll never get married.” And she said, “Oh, I hope you do. Because you’d be such a good mother.”
I sure hope she’s right.
